We love bricolage - DIY! Some pieces of furniture that belonged to the grandma, were found inside the house and there was lovingly given back new life, like two old blanket chests restored by Serena and Andrea.
We chose its name in memory of our grandma. When me and my sister were children she used to say us that her recipes were genuine and substantial House Sustanzia At the same time, living in the apartment can satisfy you...like a substantial meal. So, we hope our guests feel right at home.
